Oral Hygiene is a concern since the dawn of civilization when people used twigs to clean their teeth. Early individuals later graduated to using natural oils, leaves and infusions to clean their teeth. Later the practice was to use oils and extracts not only for teeth cleaning but help to prevent gum disease and freshen breath. In more recent times folks have united easy and basic ingredients such as baking soda, salt, salt powder and hydrogen peroxide to assist with teeth cleaning and to assist to prevent the consequences of gingivitis. If things escalate, disorders or illnesses in the mouth can spread to other regions of the body where the issue could become much more serious and even fatal – especially assuming that it includes the heart, lungs or kidneys. So if you see some plaque – do not take it so lightheartedly in the future!
Professionals recommend means to use floss for optimum results. Take a great length of floss and lightly put this in the space between two of your teeth. Next, move the floss up and down a few times between the teeth, pulling the floss such that it “embraces” the tooth down in the gum line. Locate a place in your piece of floss which is not yet been used and move to the next tooth. Consistently hit the spot behind the tooth you just finished.

Using common sense when it comes to germ control is imperative. Although we’re instructed to cover our mouths, what good does it do if we fail to wash our hands afterwards? A much better approach could be to either make use of a tissue or do it in the bend of your arm. This will decrease the threat of germs propagating to others around you.
